There are four levels of coverage. Each level covers different parts. The highest level of coverage is known as “Premium”, followed by “Premier”, and then an “Enhanced Powertrain” policy. “Powertrain” policies are the lowest levels of coverage, and are typically only offered to cars with very high mileage.

Please note, that we are not able to offer ALL levels of coverage to each and every customer. Levels of coverage are determined at the exact time we give a quote, and are determined based on a number of risk factors that are established by our underwriters. Factors that determine what we can offer include: (1) Age of the Vehicle at the time of quote, (2) Expiration of Manufacturer’s warranty, (3) Mileage at the time of quote, (4) Make and Model of the vehicle.

Premium

The best coverage you can get!

Premium coverage is typically only available to newer cars with less than 60,000 miles on them at the time the policy is purchased. This type of policy is sometimes (and incorrectly) called “bumper to bumper” or “new car coverage” due to the fact that it covers the vast majority of all components on the vehicle. The policy covers so many components, that on the policy itself it only lists what is NOT covered, as there are literally thousands of parts that are!

Each of our administrators offer premium coverage policies.

Premier

Second best level of coverage available!

Premier coverage plans cover a vast majority of components on the vehicle. These policies are generally available on vehicles with less than 80,000 miles on them. Below is a list of some of the components that are covered under these plans (be advised, this is just a general list, please refer to your specific protection plan for what is actually covered):

  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Transfer Case
  • Differential Assembly
  • Drive Axles
  • Steering
  • Electrical
  • Air Conditioning
  • TurboCharger/Super Charger
  • Brakes
  • Suspensioin
  • Enhanced Electrical
  • Fuel Delivery System
  • Cooling System
  • And more!

Powertrain Enhanced

Covering all of the major components, and more!

A powertrain enhanced policy covers all of the major components of the vehicle and a few other major components as well. While it doesn’t cover everything that a comprehensive or exclusionary policy gets, it still covers the vast majority of all of the “big ticket” items. The powertrain enhanced policies are generally available to all vehicles with less than 120,000 miles on them. Be advised, this is just a general list; please refer to your specific protection plan for what is actually covered:

  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Transfer Case
  • Transfer Unit (4×4)
  • Water Pump
  • Drive Axles
  • Air Condition/Heating Systems
  • Electrical Systems
  • Fuel Systems
  • Cooling Systems
