Why do I need a Vehicle Protection Plan?

You are legally required to have collision insurance. Yet, did you know that less than 10 percent of all collision insurance policyholders actually use their insurance plan?
A Vehicle Protection Plan (often incorrectly referred to as an “Extended Auto Warranty”) is the second part of the equation to having full protection on your vehicle.

A Vehicle Protection Plan pays for your repairs when you would otherwise have to!

80-percentOver 80 percent of our policyholders end up using a Vehicle Protection Plan and get their claims paid.

A breakdown occurs when you least expect it, and is often a very stressful and costly experience.
Our plans are designed to prevent this nightmare from happening. While we can’t prevent a breakdown, we can turn a breakdown from a nightmare into an easy experience.
All of our plans cover different parts, and can be customized to your vehicle, your driving habits, and your budget.

When you have a breakdown, all of our plans offer emergency roadside assistance, towing, and rental car reimbursement. Our roadside assistance service will pick you up, tow you into the repair shop of your choice, and put you in a rental car! Our own administrator offers FIRST DAY rental car reimbursement—which means whether your repair takes 5 days or 5 minutes, you can get a rental car immediately! Best of all, you pay nothing for this service, as it is included in your protection plan.

ASE-Certified-LogoUnlike manufacturer warranties, you can take your car into ANY dealership or repair facility in the United States or Canada (as long as they are ASE certified). While your car is being repaired, our excellent customer service team is able to keep you updated on the status of your claim and assist you with any issues you may have—including dealing with repair facilities.
Once the repair is completed, you pay nothing other than your deductible! All of our administrators pay over the phone directly with a credit card, so

you don’t have to wait to get reimbursed.

As long as your dealership accepts a credit card over the phone, they should accept our policy!

It is important that you protect your vehicle as soon as your manufacturer warranty expires. Manufacturers’ warranties usually expire at 36,000, 48,000, or 60,000 miles.

Manufacturers know that after their warranties expire, many of the repairs we cover become necessary.

Repairs are very costly, and the costs keep increasing every year. A new engine costs around $7,394, a new transmission costs $3,911, & the Onboard Computer is $871. Those are just the major repairs! Minor repairs range from $800 to $1,500. Labor rates are over $120 per hour!

a-plusAll of our plans are fully insured by “A” rated insurance carriers, who maintain at least an “A-“ rating with the AM best index. Our administrators have paid over $1 billion dollars in claims.

It’s important to get a vehicle protection plan as soon as possible. If you wait too long, it may be too late.
